Zero under-five deaths were recorded in the MMH catchment area following our annual malaria spray campaign. Not directly measured, but very significant too are the other positive effects on health, economic productivity, school results and child growth. Prolonged rains created ideal circumstances for mosquitoes to breed, and indeed many more mosquitoes were counted compared to last year. This is therefore a very positive result!
