Last week MMH hosted visitors from the Scottish paper the Sunday Herald.  The journalists were visiting with our partners from Edinburgh Medical Missionary Society to learn about palliative care in Mulanje, meeting patients and staff.  The first in a series of articles, supporting EMMS fund-raising campaign to establish a degree course in palliative care in Malawi,  was published last sunday.  Do read it – David Pratt, foreign editor at the Sunday Herald, describes so well how life is for many of our patients, and how MMH’s palliative care staff like Annie Kaseka are able to  offer a little help and comfort.
