The construction of the new road to MMH, though very welcome, meant that some trees had to be felled. We have now replanted an avenue of beautiful red-flowering flambouyant trees either side of the road to the mission. Planting was a real community event, with staff from the hospital, nursing college, schools and church members all involved. The primary school children will now look after the tree seedlings, with a prize for the class with the tallest tree by august!
