| | Mulanje Mission Hospital as a training institute
 Over the years Mulanje Mission Hospital has put more and more emphasis on capacity building of our staff. For many years we have been well known as a training institute. Mulanje Mission College of Nursing has be training nurses since 1950. Their services are ever expanding and we are pleased that since April 2005 the college offers a three-year training program for Nurse Midwife Technicians. Another major achievement is the fact that this year’s intake included 9 male students as well, the first ones in the history of Mulanje Mission.
The hospital also serves as a training institute for Clinical Officers and Laboratory Technicians.
