Many thanks to all who supported MMH Flood Relief campaign earlier this year.
Overall the MMH flood relief campaign raised MK 29,258,014 for village latrine building – 3126 latrines have been built, at an average cost of MK 9,360 each. We are also in the process of building four toilets for Mulanje Mission market, to reduce contamination in the area around the hospital boreholes.
Our thanks to all of you for this great effort, and particularly to Sheilla Mangwiyo, Environmental Health Officer here at MMH, who took on the implementation of this programme and has seen it to such a successful conclusion. A detailed report is attached here.
